Link’s 50th Anniversary Block Party on October 5 was a great success! Nearly 1000 guests attended this special celebration – playing games, eating, watching live entertainment, signing the Link banner, making crafts, and enjoying the beautiful fall weather.
Thanks to all who participated – families, students, staff, partners, alumni, trustees, Sisters of St. Dominic, Caldwell and Sisters of Charity, and neighbors. We also appreciate all who volunteered at the event – students, staff, alumni and parents. We were thrilled to feature the arts and spirit of our community with amazing student and staff performances. and to those who provided the live entertainment.
Special thanks to Captain Lopez, the officers from the 5th Precinct, and the Newark Department of Public Safety as well as the Newark Department of Public Works for their support. Additionally, we are grateful to NJ State Assemblyman Thomas P. Giblin for attending our event and for the congratulatory proclamation for the school’s anniversary from the NJ State Assembly.
