Maria Pilar Paradiso, Link Education Partners executive director and Link Community Charter School head of school, was honored today by Project U.S.E. with the prestigious Costello Commitment Award. Anthony Capone, Bob Goger, Mike Bagley, and Amy Follett from Project U.S.E. visited Link’s Halsey Campus during Morning Circle with students and staff to present the award to Maria, recognizing her as a “passionate supporter and champion of experiential education… [who] has worked tirelessly to keep students connected to their communities and natural environments.”
Link has maintained a long-standing partnership with Project U.S.E., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing experiential education to youth and adults. Through this collaboration, Link scholars and staff have participated in outdoor adventure education programs featuring hiking, canoeing, challenge courses, and camping—experiences that foster confidence, teamwork, leadership, and personal growth.
