Thank you for your support of our 24th annual A Taste of Newark celebration held virtually on Thursday, November 4, We hope you enjoyed learning about Link’s Experience first-hand the unique educational experience that has successfully educated more than 3,000 young people over 50+ years. Students and staff did a wonderful job presenting on some of the important aspects of Link that are made better with the support of our donors- the inaugural Kindergarten class, math coaching, and performing arts. The student performance by the Link Choir and Link Drum Ensemble, shot in a local music studio, was amazing! We honored Dr. Michelle Scott for her many contributions to Link – providing student programming, including Career Day and elective classes; mentoring students; and connecting Link with other wonderful volunteers, valuable partnership organizations, and generous donors. Her moving words, addressing the importance of meeting the needs of students, were inspiring. Feedback from a number of our donors was so positive about this year’s program.
