Thanks to all who contributed to the success of this year’s Mind Body Spirit Breakfast – our workshop presenters, sponsors, students, and guests! Our guests – a record crowd this year – enjoyed a tasty breakfast and the three very interactive health and wellness workshops…neurographics with Gwen Hanlon Howard, artist and former Link art teacher; Building Character Through Improv with Angelle Whavers and Nyoka Myers from Mighty Writers; and Stretch for Health with Marissa McLoughlin from Stretch Recovery Lounge. A group of Link’s female scholars were on hand to meet, greet, and mingle with our guests; join them for breakfast; and participate along with them in the workshops, thanks to our donors. Judging by the feedback received, our guests had a great time.
Proceeds from this event fund programming and activities to complement the robust academic program at Link to help bridge learning and opportunity gaps for Link scholars and prepare them for their future.
