The new decade of 2020 represents a unique opportunity for women to define ourselves, our lives and our world. In this inspiring workshop led by Dr. Laura Palmer, PhD, MSCP, ABPP and Dr. Adriana Dunn, PhD, LMFT participants will uncover their true potential while envisioning the person they expect to be in 10 years. Through a series of exercises, participants will explore the process of claiming their destiny, furthering their growth into awesome, strong individual women and coalescing as a determined force of change that will produce the leadership the world needs to achieve HERstory.
Laura Palmer, PhD, MSCP, ABPP is a board-certified psychologist with over 35 years of experience in clinical work, research, consulting and training in pediatric, adolescent, and adult psychology and neuropsychology. She has clinical and teaching experience across a variety of settings including hospital, school and private practice. She has been involved in the training of Doctoral level Counseling Psychology students for the past 20 years. Dr. Palmer has received multiple accolades for her work including: Outstanding Contribution to Graduate Education & Training and Teacher of the Year from the NJ Psychological Association, Outstanding Volunteer as the Founding Board Member & President, Children at Risk, Houston TX, The Outstanding Advocacy Award from the Association for the Advancement of Psychology and University Teaching Excellence from Seton Hall University.
Adriana Dunn, Ph.D., LMFT is a licensed psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years experience in providing psychological services and evaluations to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families across a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, out-patient and private practice. Dr. Dunn has also been actively involved in teaching, research and supervision of graduate students in psychology and marriage and family therapy. Dr. Dunn is a native Spanish speaker.
Bonne Prince Harry is a Teddybear Goldendoodle has been a helpful therapeutic "assistant" for Dr. Palmers’ team for the past 3 years. We want to mention Harry because Link students think he’s a great listener and Harry makes them feel more confident when they read out loud to him!
